Handthrown Ceramics

I am a full time ceramicist making functional and decorative wares in my studio in the heart of Nottingham. I enjoy the finesse and control of using the wheel and the experimentation of raw and visceral qualities of layered glazes. My mugs and bowls are all bespoke, they make beautiful and individual tablewares.
I take my inspiration from nature and the weather. I use the changes of the seasons and the mood of the sky to colour my glaze palette. I especially enjoy the effect of the sky on the landscape whether this be in a forest, by the sea or in the hills.
