Selling art work for charity
I have been enjoying drawing since i was a child, but had a break when I had children (apart from painting Disney characters on my sons wall and Betty Boop on my daughters) then in 2015 a friend held an exhibition of local artists to raise money for charity and asked me to add a few pieces of my work, I have been industriously drawing different subjects from animals, people and landscapes ever since, then in 2017 i decided to have try a different medium and in November of that year my husband brought me an easel and oil paints for my birthday, i have been painting in oils ever since. I have also added charcoal to my ever increasing method of making art, not sure what the next step will be but having now accumulated quite a number of paintings and drawings I have decided to sell my artwork to raise funds for the Addenbrookes Charitable Trust which enables the hospital by funding equipment and staff to help more patients.
I am giving 50 percent of all sales to the charity. I take commissions too, I am based in the Cambridgeshire area but am happy to post to anywhere worldwide for an additional cost to cover postage.
I am looking for Craft Fairs to exhibit and sell my artwork
