Hi!

My name is Vanessa - a Certified Decorative Artist (painting), Mixed Media Artist, Fabric Sculptor and Tutor.

I create animal-inspired sculptures - some are whimsical/fun. Journals, plaques and signs, figures, and indoor/outdoor ornaments using thoughtfully selected recycled materials. Each piece is hand-sculpted from a combination of fabrics, clay, and carefully chosen embellishments, all made with water-based, eco-friendly products. Once cured, my pieces are fully weatherproof.

Unless otherwise stated, my creations are perfectly suited for outdoor display, bringing character, charm, and a touch of whimsy to your garden or interior living space.

Workshops in both painting and sculpting are listed on my website with new dates and projects added as they become available. Set dates and projects are not for everyone, with this in mind, I now run Club Creative on a Thursday evening, 7pm-9pm at my Studio in Leamington Spa.

These sessions are an open invitation to create any project you choose, using the wide range of materials, tools, and embellishments available in the studio. Whether you’re experimenting or working toward a specific idea, you’re free to make the class your own. Please note that larger and/or more detailed projects will take more than one session to complete - how many will depend entirely on the scale and complexity of your chosen piece.

Examples of weatherproof and indoor projects can be found on my website, but these are simply inspiration. You are not limited to what you see - if you have an idea of your own, just let me know and we’ll make it happen.

I’ll be in the studio every week, but there’s no commitment to attend regularly. You’re welcome to book sessions as often or as few as suits your schedule. If your project spans multiple classes, it will be carefully stored for you until you’re ready to continue.

Class sizes are kept to a maximum of six participants, ensuring plenty of individual guidance and support throughout your time in the studio.
