AUTA AFRICA CRAFTS was founded by mainly with the aim of promoting talented artisans both men and women from Kenya by getting their work closer to the market.There are lots of Talented artisans in kenya but the main challenge they have is how to market or sell their work.As a result of this, i came up with an idea of promoting the artisans work by bringing their work closer to the Markets and also getting feedback from customers to the artisans which helps them know how their products are doing in the market and also where improvement is needed if necessary.
Some of these artisans work under co-operatives and the others are by their own.AUTA AFRICA CRAFTS ensures that all artisans get the right price for their work and also the artisans sell their work at the right price. At the moment AUTA AFRICA CRAFTS is promoting the kenyan Jewelers who are known for their colourful beaded jewellery including the famous maasai colourful beadwork and woven items made from reeds, sisal, and tree backs all woven by women from eastern part of kenya.
