Every one of Jo’s designs starts life in a sketchbook and is developed using tactile drawing and image making processes that Jo has loved since childhood.

Holding an MA in Visual Communication from the Royal College of Art Jo’s design practice is infused with a commitment to expression honed through years of experimental practice in drawing and illustration. Jo’s ethos is also informed by over 10 years experience sharing her passion for drawing, creativity and design with a wide range of people as a lecturer and creative learning facilitator. In all her work Jo draws upon her own personal experience and research into well-being, engaging with the natural world and the value of play.
