A family business , taking inspiration from a toy bed made 50 years ago still being played with today . We have taken the simplicity of the original and improved its materials , paints and safety aspects to ensure it passed its CE certification . The bed is made from MDF , so environmentally and child friendly . The bed is assembled using dowels / glue . There are no sharp edges and is painted using organic child safety paint finished with a wax , also safe which makes the toy easy to keep clean . The bedding used is 100 percent cotton in beautiful prints. The mattress and pillow are filled using polyester non allergenic material complying to BS1425 BS5665 EN71 . The sheet and quilt are hand stitched all items are washable .These are beautifully made toy beds , attractive, safe , tough and timeless . Suitable for a variety of dolls and bears up to the length of 40cm .
