Matthew Grant

Inspired by textures, rugged forms and the work of Modernist artists, I studied Fine Art to Masters level and create artworks.

Original artworks inspired by textures and shapes in the landscape and emerging from my love of Modernist Art. I create paintings, sculptures, sketches and printmaking, using hands-on techniques and full of energy and expression.
I studied Fine Art at Camberwell School of Arts (2:1) and completed a Masters Degree in Contemporary Art at the University of Kent.
I explore shapes and textures, and theme my creative work on ideas of landscape, architecture or faces. I try to evoke a sense of place, structure or narrative, and the works I produce are high quality pieces for interiors, gardens and exhibition.
