Handmade pictures using sea glass, pebbles and driftwood

I make pictures and art using natural objects from the beach. Using seaglass, pebbles and driftwood I create pieces that capture the feel of the coast, each piece is unique as they are guided by the shapes of glass and pebbles I find. All pieces are collected by myself as I walk along the beach at Rye Harbour, East Sussex, where I have a holiday home. Naturally produced sea glass originates as pieces of glass from broken bottles, broken tableware or even shipwrecks, which are rolled and tumbled in the ocean for years until all of their edges are rounded off and the shine of the glass has been worn to a frosted appearance. A creative form of upcycling!
