Hi,
A little back story to me, I studied art and design at school, North warwickshire and Hinckley College I started with a GNVQ Art, Then went into National Diploma Graphic Design, followed by a Higher National Diploma in Visual Communication, I attended Southampton Solent University and gained a BA Hons Degree in Illustration.

I started work for a local magazine as graphic designer producing small adverts with the help of Adobe Photoshop, interested in festival entertainment I started with a circus production group called Area 51 UK Ltd as a stilt walker, fire breather and flame spinner. In the week I would help in the studio designing and producing stage backdrops and visuals, costumes and props. I would get involved with the 3d modelling and spray painting. Also doing large scale muralist paintings and latex costumes. Spent time in Ibiza doing this for the large clubs out there. and I designed and had a lot of tattoo artwork done.

Being given the chance after spending 10 years as a sprayer with Caterpillar UK to run my own freelance artist business backed with Government support I now create commercial artwork from pencil, pen and ink, chalk and charcoal, watercolour portraits of pets people and places, I work business to business as well as business to client. being an experienced creative professional however I enjoy client work most as the pieces are sentimental and emotional, something money can not buy. Producing 8 book covers and inside book illustrations including comic book work, children books and pictures for books.I love to produce artist impressions of customers visualisations. and started to produce personalised gifts as well as greetings cards.

I work from photos provided by my customer to create original artwork,

I also work as an Illustrator with outsourced work from Graphic Design studios for advertisements and marketing, Animation studios, Architectural Illustration and visualisation for Estate Agents and Property lettings. I provide wall art for solicitors offices.

One of the best reasons to get a portrait from your photos with my skills is connecting people who did not get the chance to meet in person. Take separate photos of people who never got the chance to meet and I draw them into a beautiful portrait- it is just the perfect way to create an emotional one off gift.

Photos can be from separate occasions and even eras. So if it’s an emotional Grandparent / Grandchild portrait or yourself with a much missed family member.
