Traditional Moroccan Artisan Woodwork, Textiles, and Leather

We are a small company based between Dorset and Essaouira, Morocco dedicated to bringing the best of Moroccan Artisan Woodwork to the UK. We work with Artisans from Essaouira, Morocco who use Thuya Wood, a wood which grows only in the Essaouria region of Morocco, to create art. The masters use only traditional methods and hand held tools (no machines!) to craft intricate and beautiful products, from boxes inlaid with mother of pearl, to sculptures, to hand-carved tables. Artisans, Maleems, in Morocco make very little from their art and we ensure, through exporting to the UK, that these incredible artists receive fair payment for their time and skills. We also work with textile specialists and berber carpet makers who use age old methods to create outstanding quality products.
