Nettleton Pottery

Having taught Sculpture, Ceramics and Fine Art for 13 years, I now work as a full-time ceramic artist in West Lancashire.

All of my work begins life as a direct response to my surroundings using drawings and photography of the world and the objects I love to collect.
Working mainly in porcelain, the inspiration for my hand built sculptural ceramics and framed relief panels is derived from ever changing seasonal landscapes and environments, finding beauty in the textures, colours and patterns that are revealed through the world around us to evoke memories and emotions.

The majority of my work involves hand built sculptural ceramics and framed relief panels using porcelain, oxides and glazes. Other items include greeting cards with porcelain embellishments, as well as ceramic hangings and jewellery.
