I love all types of fabrics and textures, but especially sewing with natural fabrics such as linen, wool, cotton and silk, which usually last longer, hang better and create beautiful art and craft works.

I love designing and creating something useful or beautiful from a flat piece of cloth or other etxtiles such as wool fleece. Over the years I have re-covered or up-cycled sofas, made all kinds of soft furnishings for sale and to brighten up my home, and created bridesmaids’ dresses, christening robes, special occasion-wear, evening bags, table and bed linen and novelty items, some of it also for sale.
