Earthly Treasures is inspired by my love of the Earth and making beautiful things from them. I recycle where possible and try to buy ethically grounded materials.
My feature is faeries and Faerie inspired crafts for adults and children. Ive been a crafter for ten years and learned several different crafts, sewing, painting, wired jewellery making, whittling wood, knitting and can put my hand to many things.
I love making Viking (Celtic) style jewellery and painting recycled slate mats and signs in this style. This theme fits well with the faeries who I believe are guardians of the Earth, my granddaughter thinks theyre pretty and kind and she has a point!
Knitted and nature inspired fir cone faeries sit prettily alongside the painted and wooden slate doors which can be left outside or indoors.
Each item of jewellery is hand crafted and unique. The unicorn brooch, cats and moths are crafted with care and my jewellery has handmade fastenings where possible. The bangles are colourful and varied, again based on the Viking style to match my necklaces.
I can produce bespoke items such as wired tiarras with matching necklaces etc for weddings and special events. These do not have an additional wedding price! My prices are fair and reflect the materials and labour.
My wands are collected from wild woods and carved and decorated individually, some may have feathers, jewels and others more simple designs.
