Handmade, all natural, aromatherapy candles

Here at Apothecary Essence we use the finest essential oils, mixing these with natural soy wax to create exquisite candles to suit your every mood.

All our candles are aromatherapy blends and hand-poured from my home.

Why Aromatherapy?

For thousands of years aromatherapy has been used in the healing of the mind, body and spirit.
Essential oils are natural oils that contain the ‘essence’ of a plant. The inhalation of essential oils offer both psychological and physical benefits. The aroma of the natural essential oil stimulates the brain to trigger a reaction whilst the natural constituents (naturally occurring chemicals) can supply therapeutic benefits.
It is for this reason that we use only pure essential oils in our blends and avoid perfume or fragrance oils which contain synthetic chemicals and do not provide the benefits of aromatherapy.

Our Materials

We use natural soy wax and wood wicks for a cleaner burn (less soot and less wasted wax from candle tunnelling).
We use only pure essential oils, no synthetic fragrance or perfumes.
The gift box materials are sourced from FSC certified forests.
The candle tins can be cleaned and re-used.
