Have been marbling for about 5 years purely as a hobby. Am keen to improve my skills and develop contacts with other marblers.

It would be an exaggeration to claim I have a marbling business, however, bearing in mind the very limited numbers of of professional marblers in the UK Im keen to expand their ranks within the next year or so. Im planning to retire from my teaching job in 2018 and begin the process of developing my marbling business by showing my work at exhibitions. This will give me valuable feedback from potential buyers.

I currently produce only paper marbling which I use as decorative pictures, placemats, coasters, end papers, gift boxes and dust jackets .My work has received encouraging feedback from friends and work colleagues.To date I havent displayed my work on line but Im in the process of writing articles for magazines which hopefully will lead to publication and a consequent raising of my profile.
