Using a combination of new, recycled and ancient wood, I enhance the natural character of each piece to create bespoke lamps

With a background in art, design and crafts, I make bespoke wood lamps in my workshop at home.
I love the feel and touch of wood in all its states whether it is newly felled, recycled, worn or weathered in the elements.
My lamp designs are kept simple to reflect the character of each piece of wood.
I often use sharp lines to define a theme shape or use contrasting surfaces. I make use of shadow gaps to draw attention to the feature piece of each lamp.
I collect beautiful pieces of hardwood both locally and from my travels around the country as a starting point for my lamps.
My lamps use both traditional fittings and Edison vintage with character bulbs for ambience lighting.
All lamps comply with the European Regulations and are tested professionally for safety.
