In this one-day workshop you will develop your landscape painting skills. We will use the beautiful grounds of Hawkwood as our subject matter and the tutor will be on hand to guide you through the day.

You will using oil paints and feedback will be tailored to your needs.

At a Glance
The tutor will provide a short talk/demonstration at the start of the day and then provide feedback to all students throughout to help them develop their knowledge and skills.
The tutor will provide a relaxed but focused environment to support individual’s learning.
Feedback will be tailored to the needs of the students, whether intermediate or more advanced.
Suitable for those who already have a little painting experience.

What You Will Gain
Learn how to compose a landscape painting.
Learn how to mix the colours they are seeing.
Learn how to deal with changing weather and light as we paint outdoors (weather permitting).

Try your hand at landscape painting with an experienced artist to guide you through the process.

We will paint outside in the beautiful grounds of Hawkwood but, if weather is against us, we will be able to work from photographs instead (these will be provided by the tutor).

This is a workshop for people with a little bit of painting experience and is not recommended for beginners.

The tutor will be on hand to help you throughout the day, providing feedback to all students and demonstrations as required to help you develop your knowledge and skills.
