Introduction To Folk Art Painting

“A great introduction to learn the basics of folk art painting”

Spend a relaxed morning learning the art of folk art painting. Steeped in tradition, this folk art session will introduce you to the basics of the brush strokes used in traditional folk art around the world.
After a short introduction to the workshop, you have a demonstration on how to use the brushes to make some of the basic foundation strokes used in folk art. After some time practising the strokes, you will be guided through painting a folk art pattern on card to make into a greetings card.
With small numbers, and plenty of guidance from the tutor, this workshop aims to provide a relaxed and enjoyable introduction to the art of folk art painting.
