‘Harmony in Diversity’ SoCro Art Competition - March 2025

Welcome to the SoCro Art ‘Harmony in Diversity’ art competition.
The competition is about ARTISTIC DIVERSITY representing all styles, genres, techniques and skills of artworks made by artists irrespective of their backgrounds, age, gender or experience.
Event Details
- Date: 3rd to 28th March 2025
- Location: Click Clock Gallery, 9 Katharine St, Croydon CR9 1ET
- Submission Deadline: Sunday 5th January 2025
- Categories: painting, drawing, graffiti, photography, digital art and textile, any mixed media artwork that can be hung on a wall! AI generated work will not be considered for this competition.
Artist Prizes
The below prizes will be awarded to the top 3 winning entries voted in by the public, with the possibility of additional or higher-value prizes depending on the number of entries submitted and any additional prize donations received. Organisers reserve the right to upsize the prize offerings accordingly.
First Prize:
- Cash prize £300 minimum
- Cool as Ice package from East Croydon Cool worth £200 which includes 1 x Instagram grid post (to be posted within one month) and 1 x Insta story (grid post shared on stories)
- A month showcase on the two main wall spaces in the rear gallery at the Click Clock Gallery worth £95
- 100 percent discount up to £200 framing artwork from Urban Framers
- Wellness home fragrance from Ashleigh and Burwood worth £150
- A Grande Reserve bottle of Champagne from Majestic Sanderstead worth £30
Second Prize:
- Cash prize £150 minimum
- Two weeks showcase at the Coach House Café
- 20 percent discount on framing artwork from Urban Framers
- An orthopaedic cushion from Raj Osteo worth £60
- Wellness home fragrance from Ashleigh and Burwood worth £100
Third Prize:
- Cash prize £100 minimum
- 15 percent discount on framing artwork from Urban Framers
- Wellness home fragrance from Ashleigh and Burwood worth £50
- A week showcase window at The Gallery Warlingham worth £40
Eligibility
- Open to all artists aged 14+ - students, emerging or established artists - across South London, including boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, Croydon, Greenwich, Kingston, Lambeth, Lewisham, Merton, Richmond, Southwark, Sutton and Wandsworth, including Surrey and Kent counties. Submissions from artists outside the South London region (in the UK or abroad) might be selected for the exhibition, but they will be put on the waiting list until the full review of all the entries is completed in the course of January 2025.
- Each artist may submit up to three pieces of artwork
Submission Guidelines
- All entries must be original works created by the submitting artist. You cannot enter a collaborative piece as a collective.
- The submission must be accompanied by a completed registration form and entry fee
- All works must be the Intellectual Property of the artist.
