Guildford Guildhall is our most popular Craft and Gift market event, some markets here booking up 16 – 18 months in advance.
2024 will be our 11th season in Guildford. The Guildhall is an iconic 17th century Grade I listed building on Guildford High Street, right in the heart of the town. This amazing building has 2 main rooms that are used, the ground floor Court Room with a huge array of exquisite wood paneling and the sumptuous 1st floor Council Chamber. Mynt Image supply tables for the 1st floor but stall holders are asked to provide their own table when booking the ground floor.
Located right on the Guildford High Street the footfall at this venue is usually good and sales have a reputation for being good throughout the year so long as stall holders are experienced in selling. This is a venue for long term sellers, a lot of established stallholders obtaining a high percentage of their sales from repeat business. If you want to join an established group and are not looking for instant results, then this is the place for you ...sales can be very high
The High Street is always bustling with shoppers, both from Guildford itself and from the surrounding area. In the summer months, May to September, Guildford is also full of tourists, many arriving on tourist coaches. Sales at this venue are better in the afternoon rather than the morning.
There is a lively street scene in Guildford with many buskers and street entertainers, the active marketing methods of Mynt Image events fit right in to this scene with our arrow spinning and other active methods.
Christmas markets here are exceptionally popular with customers coming in from many miles around to shop in the city of Guildford. Please be aware that Pre-Christmas events start in August, with customers starting to shop for Christmas gifts as soon as they return from their holidays. It’s no wonder that August is often the best month to sell Advent calendars and Christmas cards!
We do NOT provide tables for stall spaces booked downstairs. Tables are however provided on the 1st floor. Sales can be just as good upstairs as downstairs.
