Thriplow Daffodil Weekend attracts up to 10,000 visitors over two days. Celebrating the start of spring, the village blooms with thousands of daffodils of all varieties, attracting visitors from around the country (we even have our own variety of Daffodil!). Alongside traditional family entertainment such as live music, dray horses, farming attractions, dog show, classic cars and much more, we offer our visitors the opportunity to browse over 130 craft and food stalls, all set up in dedicated areas and marquees around the village and interspersed with beautiful displays of daffodils. Many pitches are offered in commercial marquees and all areas are supplied with event power. In the increasingly popular Taste of Thriplow area, we offer up to 24 catering pitches providing a variety of street food in a dedicated space with a live music stage and beer tent.
Details about the history of the event and our daffodils can be found on our website (thriplowdaffodils) and for more information about the village of Thriplow, check out the Thriplow Society’s webpages (thriplow/thriplow-society). The event is run by experienced volunteers with all monies raised being donated to charitable organisations in the region. The event is promoted regionally, through press and social media and receives interest from both regional and national television/radio. We operate an advanced ticket only system for our visitors and our next event is on the 16th and 17th March 2024.
We are located in the beautiful South Cambridgeshire countryside with easy access to the M11 and the A1 via the A505 - come and be a part of one of East Anglias most popular visitor weekends!
