Watercolour Sale For Charity

Sunday, 26 November 2017 - 10:00 till 16:00

“Raise funds for Shiloh Homeless Charity Rotherham”

Wickersley based watercolour enthusiast Pete Thornton-Smith organises his last viewing session of his work this year at Thornbank Offices on Mountenoy Road off Moorgate in Rotherham on Sunday November 26th from 10:00 - 4:00.

Incapable of drawing stick people at school, he decided to challenge himself and started attending workshops with Matthew Palmer some five years ago and, more recently, Bill Lupton. He now creates his own from pictures or whilst on holiday. The display will cover all of these sources.

So, why not treat yourself to either one of his original 20” x 16” mounted and/ or framed landscapes or perhaps one of them as a copy at a smaller size or even postcards and notelets. Something for any space and pocket.

Half the proceeds will go to the Shiloh Homeless Charity so why not call in and help raise some funds for this worthy cause as well as brightening up your home or office. Pete is also prepared to loan the originals out to local businesses complete with frame for £7.50 per month for a minimum period of 4 months after which you can change the picture and rebook or cancel.

Further details with samples and videos are on his Wishing You Watercolours Facebook page at facebook/wishingyouwatercolours. You need to buzz 204 when you arrive at Thornbank Reception and you can see the offices opposite Springfield Vets at the town end of Moorgate. He’ll even put the kettle on if you’re lucky!
